Fulfilling the Commission
One of the central reasons for ministry is to carry out the Great Commission, as instructed by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20. The mission is to make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach them to observe Jesus' teachings.
Ministry provides a structured way for the church to reach out to others with the message of the gospel and to help individuals grow in their faith.
